Assess neck

Make necessary truss rod adjustment

Assess frets

File, recrown and polish up to 4 high frets to level frets if necessary (if more frets need to be lowered, a setup with fret dressing may be needed to get action as low as some players desire)

Polish Guitar

Setup with fret dressing- -$85 include

Basic setup

Level frets

Crown frets

Polish frets

Fabricate bone nut --$30.00

Fabricate bone saddle--$30

Tremolo setup--$70

Setup includes addressing both the trem and the nut.  If the old nut needs replaced, the new nut will add $30 to the cost.  If it just needs adjustment, it will not add to the cost.

Straighten warped neck--$75-150

If your neck has developed a twist, forward bow that cannot be adjusted with the truss rod, or backbow; it can be repaired.  The process is labor intensive and requires plenty of time.  Once the neck is straightened, the nut and the frets may require adjustment.  The cost of the repair is directly effected by the time it takes to get your guitar back to playing like new.

Finish repairs--varies according to size and type of damage.

Includes chips and cracks.  I'll need to see the instrument to give  you an estimate.

Repair Structural Damage--varies according to size and type of damage

Cracks in the wood, Cracked acoustic top, loose braces, neck crack/break.  You'll need to bring your guitar in to be assessed to get an estimate.  Some of these repairs, such as when a headstock breaks off of a guitar, are very time-consuming and can get expensive.  Some are very economical.  Bring your guitar in.  Let me check it out and give you an estimate.  It will help you make a decision on how you to proceed with the guitar.

Please be aware that we try to keep your repair cost low, but sometimes the parts on a guitar are just not capable of providing the best playability and need replaced.  We will contact you if the we encounter problems that will drive up the price of your repair and give you options at that time
